Job Requirements

  • Education in culinary arts or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in a supervisory culinary role
  • Ability to manage multiple kitchen areas
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to adhere to company policies and standards

Job Qualifications

  • Five years of progressive culinary experience preferred
  • At least two years in a sous chef role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Experience managing culinary budgets
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of Northern Mexican cuisine is a plus

Job Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations including production and prep
  • Manage private parties and special events coordination
  • Supervise stewarding, purchasing, and receiving processes
  • Ensure culinary staff prepare menu items to highest standards
  • Lead kitchen operations in absence of Executive Chef
  • Manage culinary budget and control labor, scheduling, and overtime
  • Foster a cohesive and motivated kitchen team
