Job Description

Rocket Farm Restaurants is a dynamic hospitality group known for cultivating a unique and supportive workplace culture centered on reciprocal service. The company’s core philosophy, 'We serve the person who is serving the guest,' exemplifies its dedication to valuing each team member with dignity, respect, and care. This ethos is not just practiced in the front-of-house but is equally fundamental to how team members collaborate and support one another behind the scenes in the kitchen. Rocket Farm Restaurants operates multiple successful brands across several cities, including Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, Houston, Raleigh, and Winter Park, reflecting its growing presence and influence in the casual dining industry.

One of its standout establishments, Little Rey, is a vibrant, super-casual restaurant inspired by the rich and bold flavors of Northern Mexican cuisine. Little Rey is the younger sister brand to Superica and is renowned for its signature wood-roasted "chicken al carbon". Guests are drawn to the lively atmosphere and the authentic culinary experience that the restaurant offers. As part of Rocket Farm Restaurants, Little Rey upholds the group’s commitment to a respectful and ethical work environment where creativity, responsibility, and teamwork are encouraged and rewarded.

Currently, Little Rey is seeking a Cook who is hungry for responsibility and eager to contribute to an innovative and heartfelt team. This role is pivotal in ensuring guests receive high-quality dining experiences by preparing dishes accurately and maintaining the highest standards of culinary precision. The successful candidate will use exact measurements and follow culinary techniques meticulously to preserve the integrity of the restaurant’s beloved recipes while working efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Collaboration and responsiveness to managerial direction are critical to excelling in this role. The job offers competitive pay starting at $18 per hour, with opportunities for performance-based raises and promotions based on experience and ability.

Joining Rocket Farm Restaurants means more than just a paycheck; it's about becoming part of a community that nurtures professional growth through Rocket Farm University, a program offering specialized leadership classes and personalized career advancement support. Company culture thrives on employee-led mentorship programs, advisory councils, and safety committees, fostering a workplace where every voice matters. Team members enjoy generous dining discounts at all Rocket Farm venues and paid time off on major holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

After one year of employment, staff become eligible for additional benefits designed to support their well-being, such as paid time off, childbirth recovery leave, parental leave, and comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage. Rocket Farm Restaurants is proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to maintaining a diverse and inclusive workforce while complying with federal employment laws, including providing necessary notifications to applicants about their rights.
