Job Description

Rocket Farm Restaurants is a celebrated hospitality group dedicated to cultivating an environment where the focus is truly on the people behind the service. Their core philosophy, 'We serve the person who is serving the guest,' underpins a distinctive culture built on respect, dignity, and empathy within their team, from kitchen staff to front-of-house personnel. This cultural commitment is visible not only in guest interactions but also in the way colleagues collaborate and support one another in every aspect of daily operations. Rocket Farm Restaurants has established multiple vibrant locations across cities such as Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, Houston, Raleigh, and Winter Park, each reflecting a dedication to high-quality dining experiences and ethical work environments.

Among their portfolio is Little Rey, an exciting and dynamic restaurant inspired by the rich flavors of Northern Mexican cuisine. As the younger sister to the popular Superica restaurant, Little Rey offers a super-casual atmosphere that centers around wood-roasted chicken al carbon, inviting guests to enjoy bold, authentic tastes in a relaxed setting. The establishment prides itself on fostering teamwork, culinary excellence, and guest satisfaction through its attentive, passionate staff.

The role of Cook at Little Rey is an integral position that demands culinary precision, efficiency, and a deep commitment to delivering exceptional food experiences. This position requires the ability to execute recipes accurately, maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization, and uphold the high standards synonymous with Rocket Farm Restaurants. The successful Cook will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability, excellent communication, and the capability to work collaboratively with the entire team. The Cook’s responsibility extends beyond food preparation to embodying the company’s values through respectful and supportive interactions with peers and management.

Offered as a full-time role with competitive compensation starting at $18 per hour and potential for increases based on experience and ability, this position provides an excellent opportunity for culinary professionals seeking growth within a supportive, ethically driven company. Employees benefit from a vibrant culture that promotes performance-based raises and promotions, paid time off during major holidays, and dining discounts across all Rocket Farm locations. Rocket Farm Restaurants emphasize professional development through initiatives such as Rocket Farm University, mentorship programs, and leadership training designed to supportcontinued career advancement. Furthermore, after one year of employment, additional benefits include paid time off, childbirth recovery and parental leave, as well as comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage. Rocket Farm Restaurants is committed to equal opportunity employment, ensuring every individual’s rights are respected in accordance with federal laws.
