The Liquor Assistant position is an entry-level role located within a retail environment specializing in liquor and related products. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 60 lb boxes occasionally
- Ability to exert 25-60 lbs of force frequently
- Ability to exert 10-20 lbs of force constantly
- Dexterous use of both hands
- Ability to stand and move about various workstations
- Ability to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Ability to use knives and other sharp instruments safely
- Good corrected vision and hearing
- Ability to work on slippery floors
- Must comply with company dress code and wear name tag
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Greet and thank every customer with whom you come into contact
- Assist the Liquor Manager in completing all their daily duties
- Comply with all company trim standards
- Assist the Liquor Manager in receiving trucks and breaking down loads into coolers
- Follow all safety guidelines and never use equipment if safety mechanisms have been bypassed
- Report any missing or non-functional safety mechanisms to Liquor Manager
- Rotate all items as they are stocked
- Use markdown coupons to reduce any product which is becoming close dated
- Use merchandising areas properly to promote sales of ad items or items that has been bought in on deal
- Comply with all company policies including following dress code and wearing name tag
