Job Requirements

  • Technical training, certification(s), or degree
  • Minimum 10 years of related experience
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Proficiency in Linux distributions (RHEL, Rocky, Ubuntu), Windows Active Directory, and LDAP
  • Experience managing VMware virtual machines and hypervisors
  • Must qualify for CWQMP Basic Proficiency Level
  • Knowledge of GitLab administration, automated build/runners
  • Familiarity with NetBackup
  • Ability to implement and enforce security policies and integrate with security monitoring systems
  • Experience using Ansible
  • CompTIA Security+ CE certification
  • No travel required

Job Duties

  • Administer, maintain, and support organization's IT systems and infrastructure
  • Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers in physical and virtual environments
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver appropriate solutions
  • Manage Active Directory and other core IT services
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot moderate to complex issues
  • Perform patch management, system updates, and backups
  • Plan and execute systems upgrades and hardware/software installations
  • Ensure systems receive latest security patches and updates
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect against unauthorized access
  • Conduct security audits and assessments for compliance
  • Develop, manage, and test backup and disaster recovery procedures
  • Participate in disaster recovery drills and business continuity planning
  • Provide support to end users and IT staff for complex technical issues
  • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations and changes
  • Generate reports on system performance and security incidents
  • Coordinate with IT teams for service delivery
  • Recommend system improvements based on analysis
  • Assist in development of IT policies and procedures
