This is a full-time position that plays an essential role in the back-of-house team. The dishwasher is tasked with washing and cleaning all tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment effectively and efficiently. The dishwasher operates the dish machine, monitoring water temperature to guarantee proper sanitation and addressing any mechanical issues promptly by reporting them to the management.
The role also involves physical responsibilities such as lifting, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods, often in hot, wet, and noisy kitchen environments. The dishwasher must handle all kitchenware with care to avoid breakage or loss, manage inventory for detergents and cleaning supplies to maintain operational readiness, and assist with cleaning food preparation areas when necessary. Flexibility is required as the dishwasher may be called upon to fill in other positions or duties to support the restaurant manager and supervisors in ensuring that the restaurant runs efficiently. - Be able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds up to 30 times per shift

Job Duties
- Load, run and unload dish machine
- Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately
- Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle
- Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware
- Keep dishroom clean and organized
- Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen
- Bag and haul dishroom trash to dumpster at designed times
- Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
- Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies
- Clean food preparation and production areas as required
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor
