Job Description
The Links at Sherwood is a beautiful residential community managed by Lindsey Management Co., Inc., a renowned property management company dedicated to providing exceptional living experiences for its residents. Located in a picturesque setting, The Links at Sherwood offers a range of well-maintained apartment homes with access to community amenities designed for comfort and convenience. The community prides itself on fostering a welcoming, care-focused environment where residents can enjoy both privacy and a vibrant social atmosphere. As a full-time Leasing Consultant at The Links at Sherwood, you will play a vital role in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment prospective and current residents engage with the community.
In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents, where your interpersonal skills and sales expertise will be essential in showcasing available apartment homes and community features. You will work closely with the Community Director to promote available units, turning apartment tours into leases by delivering persuasive presentations and building genuine relationships with potential tenants. Beyond leasing, you will be responsible for managing the community clubhouse as a central hub for residents, ensuring a clean and welcoming space while responding promptly to inquiries and needs.
Your duties will include greeting and assisting residents and guests professionally, answering phones, processing applications, preparing leases and renewals, and maintaining positive community relations. An understanding of the importance of customer service will be key as you support and engage with residents, helping to strengthen the overall sense of community. The position requires flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays on a scheduled basis, ensuring coverage during prime leasing hours and resident activity peaks.
Working at The Links at Sherwood comes with several valuable benefits, including an hourly wage, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, paid life insurance, and paid vacation and holidays. Additionally, full-time Leasing Consultants have the unique opportunity to live onsite with a generous rent discount, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in the community experience you help cultivate. The Links at Sherwood is committed to professional growth and offers a supportive, dynamic work environment where your skills in communication, sales, and community management can flourish.
If you possess effective communication skills, computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, and experience or interest in leasing and property management, this opportunity is an excellent fit. Familiarity with Yardi software and past leasing experience are advantageous but not mandatory. As a company that values integrity and professionalism, all applicants must pass a criminal background check and drug screening and hold a valid driver’s license. Join The Links at Sherwood team and contribute to building a community that residents are proud to call home.
