Job Requirements

  • 2 years of relevant culinary or restaurant experience preferred
  • ability to manage time effectively in a high-quality food production environment
  • ability to work independently with minimal direction
  • possession of Food Handler Certification if applicable
  • proficiency in knife skills and kitchen equipment usage
  • capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • effective interpersonal skills
  • flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a high volume, full-service restaurant or culinary environment preferred
  • skilled in knife techniques and basic kitchen equipment operation
  • ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
  • positive interpersonal skills to establish rapport with diverse personalities
  • food handler certification if applicable
  • strong time management and organizational skills
  • capability to work with minimal supervision

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent quality and presentation of all food to guests in a timely manner
  • stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure smooth service periods
  • follow item specifications including preparation, execution, and presentation
  • consistently comply with portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, policies and procedures
  • prevent food spoilage and contamination through proper sanitation and health regulation compliance
  • maintain cleanliness of workstations and kitchen equipment
  • assist in daily cleaning of various kitchen and dining areas
  • report maintenance or repair needs to the Executive Chef
  • adhere to departmental policies and restaurant regulations
