Job Requirements
- 2 years of relevant culinary or restaurant experience preferred
- ability to manage time effectively in a high-quality food production environment
- ability to work independently with minimal direction
- possession of Food Handler Certification if applicable
- proficiency in knife skills and kitchen equipment usage
- capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- effective interpersonal skills
- flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a high volume, full-service restaurant or culinary environment preferred
- skilled in knife techniques and basic kitchen equipment operation
- ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
- positive interpersonal skills to establish rapport with diverse personalities
- food handler certification if applicable
- strong time management and organizational skills
- capability to work with minimal supervision
Job Duties
- Provide excellent quality and presentation of all food to guests in a timely manner
- stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure smooth service periods
- follow item specifications including preparation, execution, and presentation
- consistently comply with portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, policies and procedures
- prevent food spoilage and contamination through proper sanitation and health regulation compliance
- maintain cleanliness of workstations and kitchen equipment
- assist in daily cleaning of various kitchen and dining areas
- report maintenance or repair needs to the Executive Chef
- adhere to departmental policies and restaurant regulations
