We are currently seeking a professional Line Cook or Prep Cook to join the dynamic kitchen team at Shooters Waterfront. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in preparing food to exact chef specifications and setting up stations efficiently for the menu offerings. Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, this role involves assisting both the executive and sous chefs with daily culinary tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing ingredients such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and creating sauces, as well as cooking menu items in collaboration with other kitchen staff members. This position demands a high level of coordination to ensure all food items are prepared simultaneously, maintaining high quality and timely service.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum 1 years experience as a line cook in a commercial foodservice establishment
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with other team members
- Ability to read and follow recipes unsupervised
- Clear communication skills with managers, kitchen and dining personnel
- Physical ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Willingness to follow directions and ask for clarification if needed
- Capability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Reliable transportation to arrive on time daily
