The position of Line Runner at Piping Rock Health Products plays an essential role in ensuring the efficient operation of the packaging lines that are fundamental to delivering the company's products to market. Reporting to the Director of Packaging, Manager, Supervisor, or Lead, the Line Runner ensures strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) to maintain product quality and quantity standards. This role involves overseeing the setup and ongoing operation of the packaging line, performing routine checks and data entry, managing the cleanliness and organization of the workspace, and participating in training new line attendants. The Line Runner is also responsible for verifying bulk and packaging components before starting the line and ensuring that no machinery runs unattended, which is critical to maintaining both safety and production efficiency. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, and the capability to work in a physically demanding environment that may expose employees to various allergens and chemicals.
