The Jr. Sous position at Urban Plates is an exciting entry-level leadership development role designed for team members aspiring to move into management. Located at the Playa Vista, CA location, this role offers hourly pay ranging from $18.87 to $23.45, with potential additional earnings from tips. The Jr. Sous supports the management team by ensuring excellent food quality and presentation, efficiently managing kitchen operations including receiving food and packaging orders, as well as opening and closing the kitchen. Key responsibilities also include expediting and assembling take-out orders while maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all food-related work areas and equipment. This role provides a hands-on opportunity to engage in a fast-paced kitchen environment, develop leadership skills, and contribute to delivering an exceptional guest experience.
