The Kitchen team at Live Nation, specifically within the House of Blues venues, is seeking passionate and motivated kitchen staff to join their high-energy culinary operations. This role involves organizing and prioritizing food preparation, adhering to standardized recipes, ensuring proper portion sizes, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness and safety standards. The successful candidate will work closely with other kitchen staff members to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Responsibilities include preparing plates according to presentation standards, managing kitchen equipment and food storage properly, and performing opening and closing duties. The individual must possess a strong work ethic, teamwork skills, and a commitment to maintaining EchoPlex safety and sanitation protocols.

This position requires a valid Health Department Food Handler Certification, knowledge of high-volume kitchen operations, and the ability to inspect and properly rotate food items to prevent spoilage. Candidates must demonstrate experience in kitchen sanitation, prep work, expediting food orders, and utilizing all standard kitchen equipment. Following standardized recipes and maintaining the pace expected in a busy kitchen environment are crucial for success. A High School Diploma is required, and COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory with legally valid exemptions considered.

The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring prolonged periods of standing and the ability to lift and move weights of up to 150 pounds. Job Duties

  • Organize and prioritize preparation of food items
  • prepare food according to standardized recipes

  • ensure proper rotation of all food items, including the lifting and moving of food bins weighing up to 180 lbs
