Char Steakhouse is a contemporary southern-style steakhouse known for offering USDA Prime and Choice cuts of meat, fresh seafood, and home-style sides to share. The establishment also provides guests with brunch options alongside a select range of classic cocktails, wine, and bourbon. One of the unique features of Char is its lively piano bar which presents nightly entertainment, and during Sunday brunch, a jazz trio performs to enhance the dining experience. The restaurant operates six days a week from 11am to 10pm and on Sundays from 10:30am to 9pm. Char Steakhouse is part of 4Top Hospitality, a multi-concept independent restaurant group based in Nashville, Tennessee, with 16 locations across the Southeast. This group includes various acclaimed dining concepts such as Amerigo Italian Restaurant, Saltine Oyster Bar, Jasper's casual bar and restaurant, as well as award-winning chef-driven establishments like etch and etc. The group is recognized for its community-oriented hospitality model and plans to expand further in 2025 and beyond.

The line cook position at Char Steakhouse is a vital role responsible for ensuring kitchen operations run efficiently and smoothly. The ideal candidate will bring positive energy into the back-of-house team, uphold strict food safety and sanitation standards, and maintain cleanliness in workspaces. The role demands excellent cooking skills in a fast-paced environment, with an emphasis on preparing dishes according to precise recipes and presenting food that meets the establishment's high standards. Candidates must possess strong knife skills, be detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing various tasks while following directions effectively. Comfort with standing for extended periods, a necessity in busy kitchens, is also required.
This role offers a competitive wage ranging from $20 to $22 per hour, depending on experience and availability.
