Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a line cook or prep cook
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions
  • Completion of Line Cook/Prep Cook training and required food certifications
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, use hands and arms, lift up to 15 pounds
  • Adherence to uniform standards including clean and professional appearance
  • Commitment to work scheduled shifts
  • Willingness to adhere to workplace policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Knowledge of food products, recipes, and proper preparation methods
  • Strong mathematical skills to understand measurements and portion sizes
  • Ability to apply common sense and follow instructions
  • Completion of relevant food safety training and certifications

Job Duties

  • Prep and prepare exceptional food according to recipes and high-quality standards
  • Handle volume and stress with composure and finesse
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of stations and equipment, following cleaning schedules
  • Check the quality of ingredients and ensure products are labeled and dated
  • Restock stations as needed or at shift change to set up the next shift for success
  • Follow safety and sanitation procedures including wearing cut gloves
  • Work as a team and adhere to scheduled shifts
  • Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by management
