We are currently seeking a dedicated and energetic Line Cook to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for individuals who are self-motivated and passionate about cooking, with a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant kitchen experience. As a Line Cook at our restaurant, you will be part of a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment entering one of our busiest periods of the year. This position requires adaptability and the ability to perform efficiently under pressure while maintaining a high standard of food quality.

Our kitchen operates as a scratch kitchen, meaning all salsas, sauces, and other components are made in-house using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients. You will gain valuable experience working with a live charcoal grill for proteins and preparing house-made tortillas, which are key features of our innovative menu. Additionally, candidates will be cross-trained on prep duties, allowing for flexibility in shift scheduling based on the volume of business and providing broader culinary skills.

We offer both full-time and part-time positions with opening and closing shifts available to accommodate various schedules. Compensation is competitive and based on experience starting at $18 per hour plus tips, reflective of the skills and dedication you bring to our team. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of kitchen or line cook experience
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Tex-Mex cuisine and scratch cooking techniques preferred
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency
  • Experience handling live grill equipment advantageous

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations
  • Operate charcoal grill and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Assist with prep work including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
