Job Requirements

  • Must have experience
  • Ability to commute to Santa Ana, CA 92705
  • Availability to work Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 9 am to 3 pm
  • Basic knowledge of food safety
  • Ability to work in person
  • Part-time availability

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a restaurant or culinary setting, preferably within a dietary department
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
  • Ability to plan menus that cater to diverse dietary needs
  • Excellent cooking skills with attention to detail in meal preparation
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
  • A positive attitude and willingness to help others in the kitchen

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients
  • Collaborate with the dietary department to ensure all meals meet nutritional requirements
  • Help train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as necessary
  • Participate in special events or catering functions as required
