The Line Cook role at Bottega Louie is critical to maintaining the high standards of the kitchen and overall dining experience. Responsibilities include maintaining a pristine prep station, adhering to health codes and safety regulations, and ensuring food storage areas meet cleanliness standards. The line cook collaborates closely with chefs and servers to support kitchen operations and ensure timely, accurate order completion. Job Duties

  • clean your personal workspace to ensure a pristine prep station
  • adhere to health codes and safety regulations daily by checking the cleanliness of storage areas and food prep
  • communicate with the chef regarding any assistance with kitchen support, management or any BOH needs
  • collaborate with servers to ensure that orders are completed on time and according to requests
  • demonstrate and emphasize the importance of recipe consistency to maintain the quality of each dish per Bottega Louie standards
  • perform station opening, closing and side work duties for each shift and always check out with the manager on duty
  • demonstrate leadership by displaying job expertise, enthusiasm, initiative and have exceptional communication skills
