Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
- able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and front of house krewe members
- able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50lbs
- able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
- compliance with kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
- maintain a clean and sanitary work area
- follow standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and quality standards
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year kitchen preparation and cooking experience
- able to communicate effectively with managers and team members
- able to follow recipes and standards consistently
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- strong attention to detail in food presentation
- physical stamina for standing long hours and lifting up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Prepare hot food products accurately and efficiently
- prepare and portion food prior to cooking
- perform final plate preparation including plating and garnishing
- prepare appropriate garnishes for hot menu items
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area
- follow Ruby Standards, recipes, portion sizes, and cooking methods
- communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and front of house staff
