Job Description
Join Chef Roberto Alcocer at Vall, a Guadalupe Valley Kitchen, known for drawing on the traditions of Mexico's renowned wine region and the bounty of local farms and seafood. Valle offers bold cuisine paired with a selection of Mexican wines, best enjoyed on the seaside dining veranda with beautiful ocean views, providing intimate dining experiences with Chef's tasting menus or a la carte options. Michelin star-rated Valle restaurant is seeking experienced line cooks for its team.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- minimum of 3 years of previous line experience in a full-service restaurant, preferably in Mexican fine dining
- professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures
- ability to perform all basic cooking skills, work a single station in the kitchen, stand for long periods, work well under pressure, take direction on recipes, have basic knife skills, and attention to detail
- availability Tuesday-Saturday to align with the restaurant's operating hours.
