Delaware North Sportservice is currently seeking a seasonal Line Cook to join their dynamic team at Truist Park. This role is seasonal, aligning with the baseball season, starting in March and typically running through October, with possible extensions during playoffs. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds or more
  • Ability to work flexible hours including days evenings weekends holidays and events
  • Must follow all health and safety regulations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to understand recipes and food abbreviations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to follow procedures take directions and work in a team environment
  • Basic math skills to understand calculate and follow recipe measurements and proportions
  • Previous experience in a culinary or food preparation role preferred
  • Food handler’s certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Follow the assignments for opening and closing procedures as well as food production
  • Prepare food and beverage products following recipe guidelines using proper preparation techniques and sanitation guidelines
  • Set up and operate kitchen equipment
  • Keep workstation and equipment clean organized and sufficiently stocked
  • Adhere to safety and hygiene standards
  • Coordinate orders efficiently during busy periods
  • Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment
