Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to lift 20 pounds or more
- Ability to work flexible hours including days evenings weekends holidays and events
- Must follow all health and safety regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
Job Qualifications
- Ability to understand recipes and food abbreviations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to follow procedures take directions and work in a team environment
- Basic math skills to understand calculate and follow recipe measurements and proportions
- Previous experience in a culinary or food preparation role preferred
- Food handler’s certification is a plus
Job Duties
- Follow the assignments for opening and closing procedures as well as food production
- Prepare food and beverage products following recipe guidelines using proper preparation techniques and sanitation guidelines
- Set up and operate kitchen equipment
- Keep workstation and equipment clean organized and sufficiently stocked
- Adhere to safety and hygiene standards
- Coordinate orders efficiently during busy periods
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment
