The role of Line Cook within Geronimo Hospitality Group is a vital position responsible for maintaining the high standards of food quality and consistency the company is known for. In this role, you will work closely with the Chef and fellow kitchen staff to ensure every dish is prepared timely and meets the company’s stringent quality criteria. Job Requirements
- U.S. work authorization
- Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, and giving change
- Legible handwriting
- Strong customer service and oral communication skills
- Protective clothing including slip resistant shoes
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain focus

- At least one year of kitchen experience

Job Duties
- Know and understand every item on the menu including portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules
- Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served
- Work closely with the Chef to provide absolute consistency on every plate
- Work on timing to get every ticket out in an appropriate amount of time
- Stay focused on designated tasks during prime service hours
- Communicate consistently with co-workers
- Keep your work station clean and stocked
- Practice safe knife handling
- Assist in putting away deliveries when help is needed
