Job Description
Bobby Jones Links is a distinguished club management and development company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, with a rich history dating back to 2000. The company specializes in managing a diverse portfolio of golf courses, including private, resort, daily fee, and public courses, delivering exceptional experiences to members, guests, and employees alike. Rooted firmly in its core values of Make People Happy, Do What You Say, Strive for Excellence, Be Driven, and Grow Every Day, Bobby Jones Links consistently strives to uphold a culture of excellence and integrity. The company's commitment to these principles shapes every interaction and operational success, echoing the words of Bobby Jones, "The secret of golf is to turn three shots into two," reflecting a pursuit of efficiency and perfection that informs all their endeavors.
One of the premier properties managed by Bobby Jones Links is The Patch, located in Augusta, GA. The Patch, officially known as Augusta Municipal Golf Course, has been an integral part of the local community since its opening in 1928. Recognized for its historical significance and community value, The Patch underwent a remarkable revitalization in 2023 through a unique partnership involving Masters Tournament Charities, Augusta Technical College, and The First Tee of Augusta. This collaboration aimed to rejuvenate the course and ensure its long-term preservation. Managed expertly by Bobby Jones Links, The Patch now features a redesigned 18-hole course, crafted by acclaimed golf course architects Tom Fazio and Beau Welling, alongside a newly developed 9-hole short course known as The Loop at The Patch, designed by the legendary Tiger Woods and TGR Design.
The Patch represents a harmonious blend of tradition and modern golf innovation, serving both the seasoned golfer and new enthusiasts while maintaining a welcoming community atmosphere. As part of its ongoing growth and commitment to excellent service, The Patch is currently seeking to hire Line Cooks. This role is vital in maintaining the quality and efficiency of the dining experience for guests at the club. The line cook position is a hands-on role operating in a dynamic kitchen environment, where the employee is expected to handle various cooking equipment such as griddles, grills, and deep fryers with proficiency and adherence to food safety standards.
The role involves preparing and cooking food according to established directives, ensuring the quality and quantity of all orders. Line cooks work closely with servers to guarantee orders are completed accurately, plated according to senior chef directions, and delivered promptly. Attention to detail in food presentation, adherence to hygiene protocols, and teamwork are essential components of success in this position. Given the physical nature of the job, candidates must be prepared to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds under varied indoor conditions and frequent kitchen noise.
This employment opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about culinary arts, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are committed to delivering excellent guest service as part of a cohesive team. The Patch, under the expert management of Bobby Jones Links, offers an inspiring working environment dedicated to growth and operational excellence in the golf and hospitality industry.
