The Club at Forest Ridge, managed by Bobby Jones Links, is a distinguished semi-private country club located in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Since its establishment in 1989, the club has served as the vibrant centerpiece of the Forest Ridge community. The Club at Forest Ridge is currently seeking a full-time Line Cook to join its culinary team. This role is vital to maintaining the club's reputation for excellent dining experiences and excellent service standards. The Line Cook will be responsible for operating various cooking equipment such as griddles, grills, and deep fryers, preparing and cooking food according to specific directives, and ensuring quality and quantity meet high standards. Additionally, the cook will work closely with servers to ensure orders are completed accurately and delivered promptly, all while adhering strictly to food handling and safety regulations in both kitchen and restaurant settings.
This position requires strong multitasking skills, the ability to work efficiently under pressure, and being a cooperative team player within a fast-paced culinary environment. While prior completion of food safety coursework is preferred, it is not mandatory, allowing motivated candidates with the right attitude and work ethic to thrive. The position demands physical stamina as it involves long periods of standing, walking, and handling kitchen tasks that may include lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally. Working near hot equipment and in a noisy environment is also part of the daily routine.

Job Requirements
- Ability to walk, sit, and stand for long periods
- Capability to bend, use hands, and handle materials
- Capacity to talk or hear and possess good vision and depth perception
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work in a warm indoor environment near grills and fryers
- Tolerance for frequent loud noise levels in the work environment

Job Duties
- Operate cooking equipment such as griddles, grills, or deep fryers
- Prepare and cook food according to directives

- Work with servers to ensure orders are completed according to request and on time
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations throughout the kitchen and restaurant
- Perform other related duties as assigned
