The position available is for a Line Cook at Terralina Crafted Italian Restaurant located in Disney Springs. This role offers competitive wages ranging from $16.00 to $19.00 per hour and is designed for individuals who are passionate about culinary arts and eager to develop their skills within a dynamic team environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food according to established recipes and operational standards while ensuring that all dishes meet quality, taste, and presentation requirements. You will also be entrusted with maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, operating and caring for kitchen equipment safely, and contributing to inventory management by assisting in the ordering and receiving of food and supplies.   • Previous kitchen experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
  • Tastes all prepared food items
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • Responsible for records from area worked during service periods
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
