Job Requirements

Must be able to lift 75 pounds with or without aid
Must be able to sit or stand for up to 8 hours
Must communicate effectively in English
Must be able to work independently or in a team
Must be able to work without defined breaks
Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
Must tolerate various fumes, odors, chemical agents and solvents
Must work in various temperatures and environmental conditions
Must maintain balance and climb ladders
Must access all store areas including kitchen, sales floor and outdoor areas
Must operate and use all necessary equipment

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in food service or retail preferred
Basic math and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
Familiarity with cash handling and point-of-sale systems
Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Ability to learn and adhere to company policies and procedures
Customer service orientation and strong interpersonal skills
Basic computer literacy for recording sales and inventory

Job Duties

Prep, cook and package food items according to company standards and company recipes
Ensure timeliness, quality and accuracy of all orders with a sense of urgency
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment and assigned workstations including fryers and grills
Follow all health code standards including proper food handling and food temperatures
Record each sale accurately and promptly according to company policy
Accept payment and make change for products and services
Learn and comply with all company policies, federal, state and municipal regulations
Communicate effectively with associates and customers and maintain respectful work relationships
Maintain awareness of product knowledge, promotions and advertising
Answer customer questions about location, price and use of products or services
Use company selling guidelines to increase sales and customer satisfaction
Stock shelves, counters, coolers or tables according to company policy
Accurately receive products from vendors
Complete documentation accurately by reading, counting and writing
Support any company policy, change, system or procedure implementation
Work with minimum supervision and handle work-related stress
Secure funds in safe or register, make timely drops and maintain cash drawer
Perform any other duties assigned by management
