Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Current food handler's permit required
  • Minimum one year of related experience
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Ability to work all days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to learn basic cooking skills and food safety practices
  • Physical ability to lift 10 to 50 pounds frequently
  • Ability to stand, walk, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and perform kitchen duties
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to handle high-stress environments

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Minimum one year of kitchen or food preparation experience
  • Knowledge of culinary terms and kitchen equipment usage
  • Skill in interpersonal communication
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to learn cooking, safety, and sanitation skills

Job Duties

  • Prepares all menu items with adherence to recipes and quality standards
  • Supports food quality and presentation standards
  • Sets up and stocks station at the start of shifts
  • Maintains ingredient stock throughout shifts
  • Monitors food preparation temperatures
  • Manages and maintains kitchen equipment cleanliness and condition
  • Coordinates timing of menu item preparation with team
  • Assists management and cooks during high volume periods
  • Stocks cook line, freezers, and shelves
  • Cleans work stations and completes janitorial tasks at shift end
  • Demonstrates teamwork and clear communication
  • Ensures safe and harassment-free workplace
  • Adheres to sanitary and food safety regulations
