Freebridge Brewing is a cherished brewery and pub located in The Dalles, Oregon, nestled in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. The role available is for a Line Cook / Sous Chef who will play a pivotal part in the kitchen operations. Reporting to the Chef and general management, this position requires a motivated individual with above-basic kitchen skills, a strong work ethic, and a drive to excel. The job responsibilities include preparing both cold and hot ingredients, operating various kitchen equipment such as cooktops, flat tops, pizza ovens, and deep fryers, and adhering strictly to recipe instructions to ensure consistency and quality in every menu item. This position requires working closely with both kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver an exceptional dining experience. While prior experience in pizza-making and scratch cooking is desired, it is not mandatory, as the brewery values passion and the willingness to grow and learn. The opportunity offers room for advancement and increased earnings as the employee develops their culinary skills and contributes creatively to the menu.
