The Line Cook position at the Sioux Falls Chilis located at 3720 W. 41st Street offers an exciting opportunity to be part of the Heart of House team, which plays a vital role in ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly every shift. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food preparation or restaurant kitchen work preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience preferred in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position
  • Ability to use commercial kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, grinders, and food processors
  • Strong communication skills
  • Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor
  • Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic food safety knowledge

Job Duties

  • Properly learn and execute all of our recipe procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout kitchen
  • Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
  • Communicate ticket times to Team Members
  • Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen
  • Use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, etc.
  • Assist in kitchen inventory and stocking
