Job Requirements

  • Minimum of five years industry experience
  • Possession of State Food Handler's License
  • Ability to cook proteins to predetermined temperatures
  • Ability to direct banquet cooking for up to 100 guests with small team assistance
  • Working knowledge of mother and minor sauces
  • Knowledge of proper butchering techniques
  • Familiarity with specialized kitchen equipment
  • Proficient knife skills
  • Ability to adjust preparations for flavor
  • Ability to accommodate customer needs in a timely manner
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group settings

  • Provide guidance to line cooks
  • Conduct inventory of kitchen supplies
  • Ensure sanitary and well-maintained food preparation areas
  • Ensure safe food handling standards
  • Cook proteins to predetermined temperatures
  • Manage banquet cooking for up to 100 guests with a small team
  • Operate specialized kitchen equipment such as slicers, Robo-coups, Hobart machines, and convection ovens
  • Open and close kitchen procedures
  • Adjust preparations for flavor and accommodate customer needs in a timely manner
