Job Requirements

  • Must be able to execute light lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to stand in one place for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in a kitchen environment with equipment including oven, stove, dishwasher, slicer, fryer, steamer, mixer, and chef's knives
  • Frequent exposure to heat, steam, fire, noise, and cleaning solutions
  • Ability to move with caution and operate in a busy and sometimes loud environment

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience in high-volume food production environment
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Schedule flexibility including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Active food handlers certification with the applicable state agency
  • Being a cinephile is a plus

Job Duties

  • Uphold standards of behavior as defined by the company's core values, code of conduct, and operational guidelines
  • Maintain the highest safety standards and follow all protocols to keep teams and guests healthy
  • Prepare food that looks and tastes delicious using high-quality ingredients
  • Organize and prepare guest food tickets based on approved operational processes focusing on safety, quality, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Utilize kitchen tools such as measuring cups, spoons, scales, and other equipment required by Alamo kitchen protocols for all preparations
  • Follow cleaning schedules, prep lists, station stocking guides, and other kitchen systems to control food waste, production, and quality
  • Communicate needs, concerns, and other important points with teammates and managers regularly
  • Support delivery of food and beverage orders as business dictates
