Job Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience working as a line cook in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to memorize and follow recipes
  • Demonstrated skill in knife handling
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Valid Food Handler's Card or willingness to obtain it during training
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and kneel for the duration of the shift
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain composure in a fast-paced setting

  • Demonstrated skill in knife handling and proficiency with kitchen equipment
  • Knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation practices
  • A valid Food Handler's Card (or willingness to obtain during training as required by law)
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and kneel for duration of shift
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain composure in a fast-paced setting while ensuring high-quality results

Job Duties

  • Prepare, cook, and plate food to order according to our recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines to ensure consistency and quality
  • Follow safety protocols and kitchen practices to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your teammates
  • Set up and maintain an organized, clean kitchen station daily, ensuring all ingredients, tools, and equipment are stocked and ready for service
  • Properly handle, store, and rotate ingredients using FIFO (First In, First Out) to maintain the quality and freshness of our products
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning
  • Complete prep lists and other kitchen checklists to ensure all tasks are handled before service begins
  • Execute cleaning duties as assigned to maintain a sanitary kitchen environment
  • Communicate with the manager at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure smooth operations and that all tasks are completed
  • Perform any other tasks as required to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently
