- At least one year of kitchen experience preferred but not required
- Basic math skills including addition and subtraction
- Legible handwriting
- Strong customer service and oral communication skills

Job Duties
- Know and understand every item on the menu including portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules
- Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served
- Work closely with the Chef to provide absolute consistency on every plate
- Work on timing to get every ticket out in an appropriate amount of time
- Remain focused on designated tasks during prime service hours and communicate consistently with co-workers
- Help with prepping and getting ready when your station is prepared for service
- Keep your workstation clean and stocked
- Practice safe knife handling and seek training if needed
- Assist in putting away deliveries when help is needed
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Respect each co-worker including front of house
- Open and close the kitchen properly following the checklist and assist others in closing
- Arrive promptly and in full uniform for all scheduled shifts including mandatory meetings
- Follow and abide by all policies written in the employee handbook
- Have fun at work and maintain a positive attitude to create a positive experience for guests
