We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team on a full-time basis. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of food preparation and presentation that our guests expect. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of high-quality dishes, ranging from stocks, soups, and sauces to main entrées, ensuring every plate meets our quality benchmarks. Collaboration is key in this fast-paced setting; you will work closely with your teammates and front-of-house staff to deliver outstanding guest satisfaction in alignment with our casino's mission, vision, and values.
Your duties will include working across all stations on the line as necessary, conducting quality checks, assisting with portion control and product quality, and ensuring all workstations are properly stocked and maintained. The role requires maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, managing food storage to prevent waste and spoilage, and effectively communicating with colleagues and management. The kitchen environment involves exposure to varying temperature extremes and requires adherence to safety and hygiene protocols, including wearing appropriate non-slip black shoes provided by the casino.
This position demands a high level of multitasking ability, good judgment, flexibility in working hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events, and the capacity to work under pressure in a busy, sometimes stressful environment. The successful candidate must also be able to manage sensitive situations involving staff and guests professionally and promptly. Due to the nature of the casino environment, securing and maintaining a Gaming License is a mandatory requirement.

Job Requirements
- Must have at least two years of progressive cooking experience
- Ability to secure and maintain gaming license
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
- Ability to work under conditions of extreme urgency and stress
- Must wear appropriate non slip black shoes in the kitchen

Job Duties
- Practice, support, and maintain the mission, vision, and values of the casino
- Prepare stocks, soups and mother sauces and ensure quality taste and product are a priority
- Work all stations on the line as necessary
- Ensure quality of plating and presentation
- Conduct quality line checks as required
- Assist with portion control and product quality for service
- Ensure that items are fully stocked and equipment is in good working condition
