Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and equipment
  • Understanding of industry standards for food storage and handling
  • Good judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods
  • Holds valid state or local food handler's card where applicable

Job Duties

  • Prepare grilled, broiled, fried, and sautéed items in the kitchen
  • Portion food items such as tempura and sauces prior to cooking
  • Plate and garnish cooked food items according to restaurant standards
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen workstation
  • Follow proper food storage and handling techniques
  • Work effectively as part of the kitchen team
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations
