Job Qualifications

- Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry required

- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and equipment
- Understanding of industry standards for food storage and handling
- Good judgment and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods
- Holds valid state or local food handler's card where applicable
Job Duties
- Prepare grilled, broiled, fried, and sautéed items in the kitchen
- Portion food items such as tempura and sauces prior to cooking
- Plate and garnish cooked food items according to restaurant standards
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen workstation
- Follow proper food storage and handling techniques
- Work effectively as part of the kitchen team
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
