The Line Cook PRN position at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital offers an exciting opportunity to join this dynamic healthcare environment, where the well-being of patients and staff alike is prioritized. The role functions within the Nutritional Service Department under the guidance of the Food and Nutrition Services (FANS) Management team. The primary responsibility is to prepare and cook hot food items in accordance with established recipes and safety standards, ensuring all work areas are sanitary and comply with food safety regulations. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum one year of healthcare food service experience preferred
  • ability to speak, write, and read English
  • ability to adhere to safety and sanitation protocols
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to work flexible hours including PRN shifts
  • reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • one year of experience in healthcare food and nutrition services preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • knowledge of food safety standards
  • experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
