We are currently seeking dedicated Line Cooks and Prep Cooks to join our team. In these roles, you will play a vital part in delivering world-class culinary experiences to our guests. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and executing menu items with consistency and precision, mastering various cooking and preparation techniques to ensure quick and distinct execution. You will uphold the quality of our products while maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment. Attention to detail, skill, and the ability to coordinate effectively with team members are essential for success in this position.

As a Prep Cook, you will focus on preparing ingredients according to specifications and guidelines to maintain consistent product quality and portion control. You will ensure that your team is fully equipped to provide iconic, consistent culinary experiences by preparing all necessary ingredients accurately and efficiently. Both roles demand a passion for hospitality, the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, and a commitment to delivering exceptional food and service.

Job Requirements

  • 1-3+ years culinary experience
  • must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler and California Responsible Beverage Service certifications
  • possess a passion for hospitality
  • thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
  • be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time
  • frequent bending, reaching, and stretching
  • perform repetitive manual tasks
  • lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Job Duties

  • Prep all ingredients and food products to fulfill prep lists, par levels, and recipe standards
  • utilize various prep and cooking methods to ensure the quick, precise creation of menu items in accordance with recipes
  • wash, chop, cut, grill, roast, sauté, fry, etc.
  • coordinate with other stations
  • develop knife skills for efficiency and safety
  • communicate with the team to deliver perfect food coordination
  • maintain prep and cooking areas in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner
  • clean, organize, and maintain refrigerators, cooler drawers, ovens, prep and dry storage areas
  • complete assigned side work and closing duties to set the team up for success
  • stock, clean, and organize line stations
  • follow all instructions and guidelines for safe usage of kitchen equipment and cleaning compounds
  • report equipment problems and maintenance issues to leadership immediately
  • follow all food service and handling safety precautions and procedures
