Job Qualifications

  • previous culinary or kitchen experience is a plus but not required
  • ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • strong time management and organizational skills
  • excellent attention to detail
  • physical stamina and ability to work on feet for extended periods
  • good communication skills

Job Duties

  • assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
  • preparing food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces
  • cooking food items by grilling, frying, sautéeing, and other cooking methods
  • maintaining cleanliness and complying with food sanitation requirements
  • cleaning and sanitizing cooking surfaces at the end of the shift
  • standing throughout the shift
  • lifting and carrying up to 25 lb frequently and up to 50 lb occasionally
  • reaching with hands and arms in any direction and kneeling and stooping repeatedly
