Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
- ability to stand and walk for long periods
- ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- active and able to move constantly in the kitchen

- strong work ethic and positive attitude
- capacity to handle kitchen hazards safely
- availability for flexible shifts

Job Duties
- Prepare food according to specifications and standards set by the Executive Chef
- work at entry level cooking stations
- learn and understand the food menus
- read and follow standardized recipes accurately
- listen and follow directions from the Kitchen Manager
- organize timing for food preparation
- maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic under pressure
- treat colleagues and guests with respect
- monitor quality control for guest satisfaction
- control food portions to manage food cost
- contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks efficiently
- maintain performance in a fast-paced environment
- memorize kitchen layout and equipment
- pay attention to kitchen calls
- learn from other cooks
- follow sanitation, safety, and food regulations
- keep work station clean and sanitary
