Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • active and able to move constantly in the kitchen

  • strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • capacity to handle kitchen hazards safely

Job Duties

  • Prepare food according to specifications and standards set by the Executive Chef
  • work at entry level cooking stations
  • learn and understand the food menus
  • read and follow standardized recipes accurately
  • listen and follow directions from the Kitchen Manager
  • organize timing for food preparation
  • maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic under pressure
  • treat colleagues and guests with respect
  • monitor quality control for guest satisfaction
  • control food portions to manage food cost
  • contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks efficiently
  • maintain performance in a fast-paced environment
  • memorize kitchen layout and equipment
  • pay attention to kitchen calls
