Shawarma Guys is currently hiring motivated and dependable Line Cooks and Prep Cooks to join their vibrant kitchen team. The positions offer a starting wage of $19.00 per hour after the successful completion of the introductory hiring period, plus shared tips that average between $3.00 and $6.00 per hour, depending on location. Shawarma Guys also provides a structured growth plan with performance-based wage increases at 60 days, 8 months, and 14 months, allowing total growth potential of up to an additional $3.00 per hour, with the possibility to advance into assistant-level roles earning up to $24.00 per hour.

These cooking roles focus on preparing and executing menu items according to standardized recipes with strict adherence to quality, portion control, and food safety protocols. Candidates will perform daily prep work including handling proteins, marinades, sides, and other ingredients with accuracy and efficiency. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-casual or high-volume kitchen
  • Minimum 2 years of knife skills and prep experience
  • Experience with grilling, slicing beef and poultry, meat grinding, and frying
  • Comfortable using digital tools and completing AM/MID/PM checklists
  • Ability to follow direction and maintain company standards
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to safely lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
  • Strong performance under pressure on the line
  • Professional, respectful, and team-oriented attitude
  • Strong sense of urgency and efficiency
  • Reliable personal phone for scheduling and communication
