Delaware North is seeking both full-time and part-time Line Cooks to join the team at Paseo in Anaheim, California. The role of the Line Cook is critical in ensuring culinary excellence by preparing dishes accurately following recipes and chef specifications. Line Cooks at Delaware North are responsible for maintaining food quality and safety by properly measuring, portioning, and cooking food items within established guidelines. The position requires attentiveness to food temperatures, hygiene standards, and proper storage to ensure guests receive top-quality meals. Additionally, Line Cooks support kitchen operations by performing opening, closing, and side work duties, keeping workstations and equipment clean, organized, and adequately stocked, and managing waste according to company protocols.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of one year of experience as a prep cook or line cook, possess good manual dexterity to handle kitchen tasks efficiently, and demonstrate the ability to work swiftly and accurately under pressure. The job requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy items up to 50 pounds. Flexible work schedules are available with shifts during days, evenings, holidays, weekdays, and weekends, catering to diverse availability.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a prep cook or line cook
  • Ability to prioritize and complete food orders with speed and precision

  • Basic math skills to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements and proportions
