Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year prior work experience preferred as a cook, baker, or enrollment in a culinary program
  • Ability to use scales, thermometers, measuring, and divide and multiply recipes
  • Good organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with baking equipment including oven, mixers, etc
  • Clear understanding of kitchen and food safety guidelines
  • Valid Food Handlers Card (if required by county)

Job Duties

  • Prepare products using all methods, established portions, and recipes for baking preparation
  • Manages daily production and communication of product counts with Coaching team
  • Prepare breakfast items for bake including quiche, cinnamon rolls, muffins, etc
  • Prepare and bake bread items including loaves, buns, rolls, cookies, etc
  • Daily preparation of seasonal fresh fruit for pies and toppings
  • Clean all bake related machines, workstations, transit trays, and instruments too large for dishwasher
  • Responsible to properly label, organize and rotate bake ingredients in freeze and storage areas
  • Rotates bake inventory (merchandise and product supplies) to maintain freshness and quality, make products fresh daily
  • Receive orders, check invoices, and put deliveries away as needed
  • Prepare kitchen for the day including making sure everything is secure, lighting the oven, etc
  • Notify the Coaches of any food quality issues, inconsistencies of product with recipes, low inventory, etc
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary bake area and station at all times
  • Comply with established weight and measures, health, sanitation, and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Protect the Brand through promoting and providing extraordinary service when interacting with team members and guests
  • Demonstrate dependable leadership qualities to work primarily unassisted, and is proactive to escalate matters as needed
  • Flexible to cross train in other functions for back of the house/kitchen areas
  • Must be available to work morning, afternoon, and evening shifts
