The job demands the ability to operate a variety of kitchen equipment, including broilers, steamers, convection ovens, mixers, meat slicers, and chef's knives, ensuring food preparation is efficient and within safety guidelines. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, enabling them to interact professionally with co-workers, management, volunteers, and guests. The work environment is fast-paced and event-driven, so the ability to thrive in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining quality under pressure is essential.
In terms of benefits for this part-time role, employees are eligible for a 401(k) savings plan with a matching contribution from the company, supporting long-term financial planning and retirement savings.
