Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in cooking or food preparation preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
  • availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and event days
  • strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and portion sizes accurately
  • valid food handler’s permit if required by local regulations
  • excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Qualifications

  • Previous cook or prep cook experience highly preferred
  • able to operate standard kitchen equipment including broiler, steamer, convection oven, and chef knife
  • ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally with coworkers, management, volunteers, and guests
  • ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • possess a valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations
  • ServSafe preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare high-quality fresh food products timely for guest delivery
  • prepare hot and cold foods following company recipes and portioning requirements
  • participate as a team player with responsibilities related to food preparation, service, and product delivery
  • report any maintenance required for kitchen equipment
  • maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
  • observe and test foods to ensure proper cooking
  • portion, arrange, and garnish food plates for delivery to guests
  • consult with Executive Chef to plan menus and estimate food consumption
  • maintain excellent attendance and availability for scheduled events
