Founded in 2015, OVG serves an elite collection of seven world-class owned venues and manages an expansive client roster that includes some of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions worldwide. Operating across four continents, OVG continues to set the standard for creating state-of-the-art entertainment environments that elevate the live experience for guests around the globe.
This vibrant company culture prides itself on innovation, inclusivity, and excellence, committed to disrupting the traditional sports and live entertainment industries with diversity-driven solutions that foster stronger teams and superior service. OVG places great emphasis on cultivating an inclusive workforce that reflects the communities it serves, recognizing that varied voices and perspectives are critical to driving creativity and success. The company also stands firmly behind equal employment opportunity, ensuring a workplace free from discrimination or bias based on any protected characteristic.
The part-time Line Cook position at OVG offers a unique opportunity to contribute to Colorado State University’s athletic events, specifically servicing high-volume food service operations during the football season and other special events. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their culinary skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while engaging with community-driven sports events. The football season kicks off on Saturday, September 5th, and the expectation is to commit to working all seven home games, with flexibility accommodated in special circumstances. In addition to game days, there are opportunities to participate in catering events depending on shift availability.
Line Cooks will work typical shifts ranging from 9 to 12 hours per game depending on the event’s location, earning a competitive hourly wage ranging from $21 to $25. This position also comes with valuable benefits for part-time roles, including access to a 401(k) savings plan with company matching, plus the accrual of paid leave hours based on time worked, which can amount up to 48 hours annually. Through this role, employees gain hands-on experience with high standards of food preparation, sanitation, and safety, while playing an essential role in delivering fresh, quality food products to guests during large-scale athletic and entertainment events.
This position will remain open until September 11, 2026, providing candidates with sufficient time to apply and become part of the OVG team. Joining OVG means becoming a part of a leading global entertainment company that values teamwork, excellence, and innovation while supporting your professional growth in the hospitality and live event sectors.
