Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary capacity
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Capability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
  • Physical stamina to handle kitchen environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Set up and stock assigned station before service
  • Maintain consistency, quality, and proper portioning of dishes
  • Ensure food is cooked and plated in a timely manner during service
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines
  • Keep the workstation clean, organized, and stocked throughout shifts
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to kitchen staff
  • Properly store food and label items according to regulations
  • Assist with kitchen opening and closing duties
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to maintain smooth service
