Job Requirements

  • Culinary experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • strong understanding of cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and proper food handling procedures
  • ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • communicate clearly
  • adapt to changing demands
  • able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and all holidays
  • able to stand and move for the duration of shift
  • able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • able to work near hot surfaces and open flames
  • able to use knives and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • able to perform repetitive motions such as chopping and stirring

Job Duties

  • Preparing and executing a wide range of Southern-inspired dishes with precision and attention to detail
  • following recipes and maintaining high standards of quality, taste, and presentation
  • collaborating with the culinary team to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operation
  • practicing proper food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and hygienic work environment
  • adhering to established cooking methods, portion sizes, and plating techniques to deliver consistent and exceptional dishes
  • maintaining a clean and organized workstation, ensuring that equipment is properly maintained and functioning
  • contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment, supporting fellow team members and promoting a culture of excellence
