Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience cooking in a restaurant environment preferred
  • Must complete Serve-Safe program after hire
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a scratch kitchen
  • Strong verbal communication skills and customer service skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders including employees and the general public
  • Ability to speak and write clearly and persuasively with correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy and organization
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others
  • Ability to perform with considerable independence and initiative

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepares quality food according to standardized recipes
  • Maintains a clean, safe facility that falls in line with local Health Department regulations
  • Adheres to portions and preparation guidelines for cost effectiveness
  • Reviews and adheres to schedule
  • Takes care of guests needs and food orders/specifications with immediacy and accuracy
  • Ensures compliance with Health Department codes and regulations
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays
