As a Line Cook, you will be pivotal in producing quality food products daily, following set recipes or applying personal expertise and judgment. Your responsibilities will include seasoning and cooking food, regulating kitchen equipment temperatures, and ensuring the proper presentation of dishes to maximize freshness and appeal. Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment is crucial, along with enforcing all local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.   • Observe and test foods to determine if cooked sufficiently using tasting, smelling, or piercing
  • Ensure proper presentation to provide maximum appeal and freshness
  • Maintain production knowledge and attention to taste and quality
  • Produce products cost effectively and hygienically
  • Assist Lead Line Cooks in a support role
  • Strive to improve operating procedures
  • Properly label and date all products for rotation, safekeeping, and sanitation
  • Ensure superior food quality and correct irregularities
  • Ensure kitchen equipment maintenance and functionality
