Job Requirements

  • Food handler certification
  • cooking experience of 5 years
  • kitchen experience of 5 years
  • restaurant experience of 5 years
  • ability to commute to Albuquerque, NM 87104
  • availability for day and night shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a cook or in a food service role is preferred
  • excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • excellent knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
  • strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
  • ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated
  • flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
  • utilize proper knife skills for food preparation, ensuring safety and efficiency
  • collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
  • stock inventory appropriately
  • follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
