Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen
- Ability to stand for entire shifts
- Capability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and evenings
- Commitment to food safety and cleanliness
Job Qualifications
- Experience as a line cook or similar role in a restaurant kitchen
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow recipes and portion controls accurately
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Physical stamina for standing and lifting tasks
Job Duties
- Plan and prep food items for designated station
- Set up and maintain clean and organized workstations
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines
- Handle food storage, rotation, and safety in station
- Operate the steam table for AM and PM back-up shifts
- Execute prep lists as directed by Executive or Sous Chef
- Work efficiently under pressure to meet production schedules
